jansued Posted April 26 Posted April 26 (edited) Following the call of King Raul, Jette Rotluchs Von der Leye and her newly founded special weapons and armor tournament team (SWATT) is preparing for the Great Royal Joust -hoping to win some more Groschen and to enroll more fighters for the Osnabrugge heavy infantry. Like previously explained, experienced soldiers are very rare in the Westerlands, so her team is, well, somehow woke. The Osnabrugge SWATT with basic armor. Battle / Tournament Ready team, consisting of: Jette Rotluchs with "Mean Manfred", the Battle Horse Sieglinde Von der Leye, Jette's younger sister and squire Kunigunde "Engelchen", Anouncer and Public Information Officer "Brutal Brunhild", Heavy Weapons Specialist and Bodyguard Meister Reinhardt, Chief Analyst and Longsword Master ... and the SWATT chose a backup lance as our Tournament Goodie.. Ross Fisher Posted April 26 Posted April 26 You'll never convince me to love off-brand. You won't. Not listening. Loving all of the TLG parts you have used though! Quote
jansued Posted April 26 Author Posted April 26 Yeah, I can understand you. It is also a "first" for me using other stuff than TLG and oldschool 3rd party companies like Brickarms etc. I just followed the invitation to use them... But I noticed that the quality has really improved - espcecially when we are talking about prints. I discovered some new companies (can I name them here?) which are really really high quality. And to be honest: Lego is missing a lot of chances for improvement. Quote
Yperio_Bricks Posted April 26 Posted April 26 (edited) I like the minifigs. Especially the piece Sieglinde is wearing. The dual-molded club and axe look great too. I am looking for a pack with various weapons like this. A dual-molded spear would be interesting too. Any suggestions? Edited April 26 by Yperio_Bricks Quote

Daiman Posted April 28 Posted April 28 For me off brands are very exciting and I have quite a few, TLG knights are good for nostalgia to me but as for real eye candy i look elsewhere. Great team you have come up with I shall watch the show progress eagerly. Quote
R0Sch Posted April 29 Posted April 29 Is this one of those sponsored "I don't usually use third party, but their quality has greatly improved" posts? How about keeping it clean on this forum and move it to the community tab? Quote

It's forbidden to even mention other brands names! Never have seen such a negativity in any of my other hobbies Quote

Not only that, we were invited to use them. And I paid for this stuff. How about reading and understanding the rules and keeping this forum clean from unnecessary discussions and especialy insults. Don't know where I insulted you but whatever. My bad for being click-baited into this frontpaged post, not knowing there are special sub-forum rules for your little roleplaying game here. You won't be seeing me here again. Quote

NOD Posted April 30 Posted April 30 I like the Tournament Team and it's a good continuation of the story! Quote
Khorne Posted May 3 Posted May 3 Welcome to the tournament! I like the humor in the story (SWATT and the "woke" crew ). A fierce looking retinue! The dual-molded mace and warhammer look great. Are they from Brickarms or Brickwarriors or something? Also, where did you get the Crow flag, Aliexpress as well? I have a similar 3rd party armor, but mine is without the arm armor. Your version with the armored arms looks better. Quote
