But what about programs? By the way, the local content (like mentioned programs) is downloaded in chosen language version, so keeping it all seems to be rather hard...

I've succesfully restored the downloaded content for the Windows app. I'll provide instructions on how to do this with the files that I will upload at some point.

I've uploaded the build instructions here: https://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.php?i=6780575. The build instructions in the app are actually videos and each frame of a video is a "page" of the instructions. I've had to process the video into a PDF document and make them look presentable. Let me know if you see any issues.

I had a long talk with someone on the MINDSTORMS team the other day. The immediate upshot is that, as a result of the pushback that LEGO has received the lifespan of the apps has been extended to October.

You will not see this date properly reflected in you Windows app, because no changes have been made to the app yet. However, LEGO engineers are actively working on a solution to make downloading the additional content available again. If/when I receive an update to this I will let you all know.
