AnnaS Posted March 10 Posted March 10 Hi there, does anybody know of 3D print files for printing the big train wheels of a Lego 7750 - especially for using them with a standard technic axle? I've searched a lot but couldn't find any 3D files for these wheels. Regards, Anna Quote
1963maniac Posted March 10 Posted March 10 Those take a rubber rim see: https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=bb0012v2ac01&idColor=5#T=I&C=5 There are after market Lego compatible train wheels in a lot of sizes. These may be better than what you could 3D print. To answer your question, there is a train wheel in MLCad & Stud.io 3.65cm, part # 85489ac01 that can be converted to an STL file for 3D printing. AnnaS Posted March 11 Author Posted March 11 Thanks, but that‘s not really what I was looking for. I’d like to try and print the original design of the old big 7750 wheels in 80s style and check if those printed wheels are a good solution for daily use. Quote
Frank STENGEL Posted March 11 Posted March 11 There is one source of 3d-printable train wheels : http://blog.5zu6.de/das-rad-neu-erfunden-4/ (the source files are under the "STL und SCAD-Dataien..." link near the top of the page; the Thingiverse links are dead). It is in German and uses openscad. It might need a bit (lot?) of tinkering to get the 80's look and feel. Quote
