Yperio_Bricks Posted February 22 Posted February 22 Imperial Liberation Homes in ruins, crops burned, farmers harrassed – this is what Imperial 'liberation' looks like. The rich Reythan soil, famous all across the Galaxy for its agricultural products, is burned to the ground. What is left of the crops is poisoned by chemical suppressants. Farmers are harassed daily by patrols that claim to bring 'order'. This is what Imperial 'liberation' looks like: a slow strangling of a world that never asked to be saved. And the disappearances… Entire families gone without a trace. Workers dragged from their fields in the light of day. Some say they are taken to interrogation sites hidden beneath the new Imperial outposts. Rumors of torture chambers spread like wildfire, but no one dares to investigate. On Reytha, curiosity has become a dangerous luxury – this is what Imperial 'liberation' looks like. All this while fat imperial officers are driving corruption and deplete the planet. They gorge themselves on imported delicacies while ration quotas for locals tighten. Corruption flows through their ranks – bribes, extortion, 'taxes', and outright theft. The Imperials claim they are bringing stability. But anyone who walks Reytha’s scorched fields knows the truth: this is not liberation. It is occupation! Occupation... and the slow death of a once flourishing agriworld. Report from an eyewitness, Farmer Jorvan: Quote “Hey you, yes I am speaking to you! You’re not with the Empire… I can tell. Look around you – this is what they call liberation. They burned our crops, poisoned our soil, and took my neighbors in the night. If you’re here to help, then stars bless you. If not… then leave us to our misery.” He glances toward a distant Imperial outpost. “People vanish in there. Good people. If you’re brave – or foolish – you might find answers. But be warned: the Empire doesn’t like questions.” This is the situation when New Republic troops, locals and everyone in the galaxy – with a hearth at the right place – unite to defend Reytha. Locals farmers and New Republic troopers are about to ambush an Imperial unit that is tasked with burning down the fields: [Build for the Factions RPG] Thanks for watching! Quote
Feuer Zug Posted February 23 Posted February 23 This feels right. The mix of fire slowly moving towards the rebels and the facial expressions all hit perfectly. Quote
LEGO Train 12 Volts Posted February 25 Posted February 25 The diorama captivates me with the flamethrower-style fire effect. Perfect use of colors and small pieces representing fire. Quote
Elysiumfountain Posted February 26 Posted February 26 Awesome job! There's so much action and anticipation of action in this. Especially with the color palette changes from the burned half of the field to the part that's still intact. Very atmospheric. Well done! Quote
SevenSevenSeven Posted February 27 Posted February 27 The techniques used to create burning wheat with the black bar elements is very clever! Nice terrain work too, well done! Quote

Thank you all for your kind comments! I'm happy about how everything turned out. I'll probably build such a grain field again in the future. I imagine it could look good in a medieval moc too! Quote
