The Reader Posted February 15 Posted February 15 (edited) As R.R. Slugger pointed out in one of his last videos over on YouTube (see link below), the "Passage of Jun-Chi" (set 7413) isn't really a passage ... Well, I turned my set into a real passage, leading up to the stairs of the Dragon Fortress. I removed the turntable-wall-combo and the statue of Jun-Chi, added some proper doors in black and built an alley with two of those classic castle panels also in black. I'm very pleased how it came out. What do you think? Critics and comments are as always very welcome. R.R. Slugger's video: Edited February 15 by The Reader Quote
Oky Posted February 15 Posted February 15 It looks very nice, but now it’s just a passage and there is no Jun-Chi. You should add a spot for him to stand somewhere around the gate. Also, this feels like the sort of doorway that would have a booby trap behind it in an Adventurers set, so you could add a falling axe or something inside the passage. Or perhaps Jun-Chi is the trap and waits for Johnny behind the gate? Quote

Either adding Jun-Chi or a booby trap - or both ... . Unfortunately the space is very thight on this 8x16 baseplate. And a 16x16 baseplate won't fit on my shelf. Well, we'll see. Quote
Autumn Posted February 17 Posted February 17 Looks nice, but I've always interpreted "passage" to mean "trial" or "test" here and not a literal entrance or tunnel. Quote

Thank you very much. That's a good interpretation as it could explain the mythical creatures in sets 7411, 7412 and 7413. Like in a fantasy game or role play. Quote
