Evilkirk Posted February 6 Posted February 6 The Tattooed Scimitar - Darth Maul's personal ship complete with a 'full body suit' of tattoos! Named the Sith Infiltrator by toy companies in 1999 (because they didn't know what to call it lol), the Scimitar had very little time on the big-screen, yet with it's awesome TIE profile, it was an instant hit with most SW fans. As Lord Maul is soon to return with his own TV series, I thought I'd honour him by personalizing his old ship with a Dathomir-style respray The build needs 4224 parts and PDF instructions for this Tattooed Scimitar MOC are now on Rebrickable - it includes the same fully detailed minifig scale interior as the original grey version with all of the same features, retractable boarding ramp and landing gear, opening rear doors etc, etc. Quote
LEGO Train 12 Volts Posted February 7 Posted February 7 Darth Maul is my second favorite villains in the Star Wars universe, so this starship does the character justice! I really like the contrast between black and red, the detail of the control room, and the division of the interior rooms! Quote

All of the rooms are joined, so there's no imaginary access, apart from floating up and down the elevator 😁 Quote
LEGO Train 12 Volts Posted February 9 Posted February 9 Thanks for pointing this out, I'm looking at the rooms right now and they look very rational... did you design them or is there any official blue print? Quote

There are some floor-plans out there + I always use the old "Incredible Cross Sections" books that I bought long, loooong ago! The main hull (the ball part at the back) actually has 2 floors inside - I posted more internal pics when I first made the grey version in 2023 :) Quote
