TechnicModlr Posted January 27 Posted January 27 Hello everyone, These are my two models that I built for the TC-30 It is close to 1/16 scale(the figurine is a Bruder 1/16 to prove size/scale). It Therefore matches the rest of my Large scale agricultural MOCs. They are both made up of a Technic core which allows functions and playability and a system body to achieve an accurate appearance I designed both physically first, hence the rainbow builds which I call my prototypes. Then I designed them on Stud.io to change the colors in order to visualize the final product. (It is a common practice with those who know me and my builds. Many have commented positive feed back as it has given a sense of nostalgia to those who view my MOCs, as they built with what parts they had, regardless of color) There may be a slight difference in weight on the scale vs. Stud.io build due to change of parts or addition of the parts I didn't have at the time, but since both are under 200g and the max is 300g is not an issue 1) John Deere 110 with a front blade and a disk harrow Its has a simple steering system, poseable blade and lever to raise and lower the disk harrow 2) 1961 Cub Cadet with mower deck and garden trailer This model features a single cylinder engine and simple steering Quote
1980SomethingSpaceGuy Posted January 27 Posted January 27 Hello @TechnicModlr and welcome to Eurobricks! Your tractors look great! However for this TC, I'm afraid it's not a perfect fit. As the name says, it's a Technic contest so the amount of System parts used in your models will not match the criteria. See the rules here ("Some studded System parts are okay, but model team is not permitted"): Also, even if they are different from each other, both are the same sort of vehicle, with very similar features. It's definitely not against the rules, but it might be a good idea to add a bit more diversity. I really hope you wont feel bad about this; I'm just trying to help. Have a look a the other entries in progress; search [TC30] (no dash) and maybe get some inspiration! Anyway, it's nice to see another contestant, thanks for joining us! Quote
