Ts__ Posted Sunday at 06:47 PM Posted Sunday at 06:47 PM In keeping with the Christmas season, I equipped the small Lego locomotive from set 40777 with a Circuit Cube motor and two small CR2032 batteries. My goal was to leave the appearance as unchanged as possible. I realize that the locomotive is not fully functional in this state, but it can, for example, drive in a circle around the Christmas tree.... left: Lego Set 40777 right: my modifications right side: Lego Set 40777 left side: my modifications I also made a short video explaining the conversion and showing the locomotive in action. Have fun and enjoy the Christmas season. Oh, Christmas is in danger... It wasn't intentional, really... Merry Christmas Thomas Quote
LL1982 Posted Sunday at 07:13 PM Posted Sunday at 07:13 PM Haha that's a fun conversion and nice for the tree. Time for some gingerbread wagons now. Quote

TeddytheSpoon Posted Sunday at 10:13 PM Posted Sunday at 10:13 PM Fantastic! And very well hidden too. Never mind wagons - we could get a whole gingerbread layout going... Wouldn't take much to convert the gingerbread house to a station building right... Quote
Ts__ Posted Sunday at 11:33 PM Author Posted Sunday at 11:33 PM Hehe, then build some gingerbread houses ;-) I still have some from previous years.... Thomas Quote
zephyr1934 Posted Tuesday at 05:40 AM Posted Tuesday at 05:40 AM Nice! And when I saw the still for the second video I was thinking to myself that it would be great if the train hit Santa... and then it did (naughty?) Quote
Ts__ Posted Tuesday at 09:32 AM Author Posted Tuesday at 09:32 AM Yes, it's quite cheeky to think about something like that just before Christmas... ;-) Thomas Quote

Well, it was just a little reminder what >may< happen if he does not bring what you wished so much for ... TRAIN - you didn't see that one coming, huh? Anyway, that is a very clever and nice solution, Thomas! I love the Cubic stuff as well - but this gigantic BLE battery box Thank you for sharing, and y'all have a very enjoyable Christmas! LEGO Train 12 Volts Posted Tuesday at 06:15 PM Posted Tuesday at 06:15 PM When I see these things I think another miracle has been done, now even this casing can be called a train! Wonderful jewel! Quote
Ts__ Posted Tuesday at 06:39 PM Author Posted Tuesday at 06:39 PM Thank You both! 4 hours ago, Toastie said: but this gigantic BLE battery box Compared to other solutions, the Ciruit Cube BLE Box with battery is small. But it's still much too big for this locomotive^^ 23 minutes ago, LEGO Train 12 Volts said: now even this casing can be called a train! Okay, train is still wrong, you're right. Locomotive would have been correct. I'm still working on train. I wish everyone a Merry Christmas! Thomas Quote
