MAB Posted November 22, 2025 Posted November 22, 2025 Bricklink are kicking out a number of countries from the marketplace. Not necessarily big LEGO buying populations in each case, but this will affect a few tens of thousands of users in total from these countries: https://www.bricklink.com/message.asp?ID=1531488 Indonesia Turkey South Africa Taiwan Ukraine Brazil Serbia United Arab Emirates Kazakhstan Peru Israel India Morocco Chile Vietnam Georgia Lebanon Saudi Arabia Qatar Oman El Salvador Bahrain Azerbaijan Armenia Pakistan Egypt Moldova Ecuador Argentina Costa Rica Colombia Bosnia and Herzegovina Turkmenistan Greenland
Sven J Posted November 28, 2025 Posted November 28, 2025 I'm really surprised that this topic doesn't seem to get any attention at all. It's an outrageous scandal to ban more than 1/7 of all the countries in the world from the only international Lego buying/selling platform. SHAME ON YOU, LEGO! And not a prudent decision business-wise, too IMHO. With companies like Webrick continuously improving their parts range and Wanted List features, I shouldn't be surprised if their market share rose significantly due to LEGO acting like that...
Takanuinuva Posted December 5, 2025 Posted December 5, 2025 Ok but why? What reason is there to even do this?

Could do something with customs regulations in these countries. Not too sure. A shame, really. I have met multiple South Africans on the internet who were so delighted because official LEGO stores opened in their country. This will hurt the global AFOL community in general. I expect Brick Owl to pick up the pieces....
