Disturbed, Evanescence, Linkin park

Hey there! Anyone listen to Evanescence, Disturbed, or Linkin park? They are some of my favorite bands. If you want to listen to their music, just go to you-tube.

Interesting choice for a topic, but I voted. I listen to Evanescence a lot, one of my favourite bands. Lovely music. I've heard 2 or 3 Linkin Park songs, Numb is good, but never heard Disturbed. I'd say you have good taste in music though, but I like so many types I could say that to a lot of people.

I have heard of them, but not their music. Thanks for the links anyway, I'll check them out tomorrow (not at the moment because the night is late). I might like all of them, I like harder, medium and calmer music. I am a being of varied taste, if I made a poll on Eurobricks (or on any site) with some bands I like I don't think anyone else would like all of them! Hehe.

None of the above. I prefer Seether, Foo Fighters, Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath and Gob, which basically amounts to a lot of hardcore Alt.Rock, Metal and Punk. I do like three LP songs though...but only three. They're too...pop/rap for me.

Linkin Park, no doubt. But I also like both Evanescence and Disturbed very much. Lt.Col.Thok, they aren't necessarily rap/pop. Linkin Park is Metal, Rap, and Alt. Rock. Disturbed is Rock and Heavy Metal, while Evanescence is Rock and a little bit of pop.

I really love "Breaking The Habit" but I like "Numb" and "In The End" alot as well

Evanescence is cool aswell, I like "Everybody's Fool", "My Immortal" and several others of which I can't remember the names

And I have never heard of Disturbed, but I'll be checking them out sometime

Are you joking? Rap/pop? They are Nu-metal and rap/rock with lots of metal band influences like The stone temple pilots. Mayby some of their new stuff is a bit "poppish" but deffinately not all of their stuff. How do I know this, I got all their albums Just ask JimButcher

Anyway just incase you didnt guess I voted for LP One of my fave 3 bands of all time and they were the band that really made me look out and try to find different types of music besides what was on the radio

I've heard of Disturbed, they are doing quite well on the Aus. charts but I havnt heard any of their songs.

Evanescence is an alright band, only heard some of their stuff, I especially like there song Bring Me to Life. I heard that LP feat. on it but the dude sounds nothing like LP

At school I listened to Linkin Park and Evanescence (and Nirvana, other topic) because evereybody did...

but I don't really care about them now. Though they have some good songs, that's true.

I wouldn't call rap boring, just unpleasant. And LP isn't modern rap, singing so fast that can't understand it; more like rhyming with a beat.

Though I barely listen to any of the bands, I will have to say Evanescence is my favorite out of all of them. I like Bring Me to Life, and I've listened to a couple of others but can't remember their names. For the other bands, I've listened to Linkin Park I'm pretty sure, and never heard a song from Disturbed.

Although my favorite kind of music is (Euro)Dance/Trance a la Cascada, Groove Coverage, and Sylver, I do like this type too. Evanescence and Linkin Park both have like three songs that I like a lot (the most popular ones), their other stuff is alright. I haven't heard of Distubed before, though I might have heard one or two of their songs without knowing who sung it. I might have to look into them.

Well, maybe unpleasant would have been a better word. It's just that I often use the word boring for minor things I dislike, I'm not sure why really. OK, the Linkin Park rap is better than some other rap, rap is one of the few music genres where I dislike most of it, but Linkin Park's rap I can put up with. Heheh.

By the way, ~VBBN~, I listened to those Disturbed songs, I like them! Down With The Sickness is fun, even though there is a lot of swearing which can bore me (although saying that, in one of my favourite songs by My Chemical Romance, Our Lady Of Sorrows, the f-word is used agressively in the chorus).
