I've been out of the game too long. This was a nice way to get back into it. Much, much more to come, I hope to have a full wave out by Christmas.

In keeping with @CloneCommando99's dream of an official model and my own style, I tried to keep largely consistent with lego's design schema, with two asterisks: I couldn't bring myself to replace the under-cockpit cannons with spring-loaded shooters, and while my wing connections *should* be OK, lego would likely use technic. This meant I finally abandoned my tradition of stubbornly sticking to the way lego added the grey edges to the wings of the 2018 TIE fighter and went for how they normally do the TIE variants like the Interceptor and Bomber.

The Avenger itself is 807 parts. It's hard to see from this angle, but you can pull down the 4x4 dish on the bottom to reveal the green laser weapon used in the show. That was a bantha to fit into the cockpit.

The roof lifts off in two pieces. The cockpit fits one pilot with clips to store two small accessories or weapons, and there's room for 2 minifigures to sit in the back, a third if you place him on the ramp that can lower down from the back of the ship.

I'm rusty and it definitely shows, but I think it turned out well overall. Let me know what you think. (Ignore the range trooper helmet+overlap with the fur, they don't have the cloth fur or actual range trooper helmet parts in stud.io)

Oh it’s peak. I can’t wait to see the rest of the wave.

You absolutely nailed it.

Excellent work on all the weaponry. The rockets and hull laser are perfect.

The greebling is also amazing. Especially on the middle section. You encapsulated the exterior really well.

Just a superb job. And a fantastic way to celebrate day 200 of the campaign. Thank you.
