Quotenotto Posted November 7, 2025 Posted November 7, 2025 (edited) A lot of the missing parts in reddish brown for the hull construction of my corvette have now become available with the recent One Piece sets. So I tried a new colour scheme, this time as a blue coats corvette. I also made a few alternations to the stern and made the main deck fully enclosed and added railing. The grating design is inspired by the recent Black Pearl. I would have liked to add a little bit more yellow, as it is the primary accent colour in bluecoats sets, but unfortunately, some pieces like the curved flower stems are not available in that colour yet. Elephant Knight Posted November 7, 2025 Posted November 7, 2025 A wonderful clean build! It could use some minifigs on it to liven it up a but, but otherwise it is suburb. Well done! EknightĀ Quote
Quotenotto Posted November 10, 2025 Author Posted November 10, 2025 Thanks! I have already some bluecoats lined up to man the ship. Right now, I am in the middle of reorganising my parts collection, but when Iām done I will order whats missing. Fortunatly, I have already the designs for the sails, that is always the worst part for me. Quote
Nikofluff Posted November 14, 2025 Posted November 14, 2025 Cute little light frigate. you did a great job! Quote
Franco Clarke Posted November 23, 2025 Posted November 23, 2025 I like this a lot, feels like an updated Caribbean clipper to match the new remake sets.Ā The curved windows for the stern galleries works especially well at this scale. Quote

There are a lot of new pieces in fitting colours to achieve nice looking ships in this scale. I prefere this style of building hulls, because it creates nice curves without to many steps inbetween (and fits my budget, these ships cost 100-200⬠in Bricklink orders). But when you get to project sizes like your recent ships the steps get lost in the sheer size of the build. Quote
Ido Posted November 29, 2025 Posted November 29, 2025 Honestly, this looks amazing. Very realistic and elegant. Great work! Quote
