Eurobricks 2026 Event Germany - General Discussion

52871934131_e7dbb37b2e_c.jpg

This time we want to be early with our announcement, so here it goes. We are planning the 2026 Eurobricks event!!

I will add more information to this topic, but let me start by stating the most obvious....when is it taking place?

Wednesday the 27th of May 2026 - Sunday 31st of May 2026.

Wednesday and Sunday will be travel days, so we will try to plan the activities on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

I have already created a sign-up topic.

For those of you who are new; what do we usually do at an Eurobricks event? Well, depending on the location, this is more or less what you can expect...

  • A visit to LEGOLAND (this time with the Fabrik!)
  • A visit to München (optionally)
  • A visit to the Bob Brickman Museum
  • Lots of fun activities like building contests (with prizes!)
  • Lots of fun and laughter
  • Annual rat spitting competition
  • And then some...

Accommodation

We are still looking into different options for accommodations. This also depends on how many people are coming. We are thinking about renting a private accommodation for around 30 people or so. More info will folllow...

As I said in the sign-up thread: I want to come, but assistance with travel between an airport and wherever we will stay would be massively appreciated. Whether that is someone who can help me with an itinerary for the train or bus, or someone who knows they will be passing by an airport who can pick me up. Or if you pass through the central train terminal in Munich/will be arriving at an airport and we can meet.

My German goes only as far as ordering beer! Billund is nice and easy for me to navigate, but the greater distances involved with this event are a bit stressful.

Of course, I can pay my fair share for fuel, and I can follow travel instructions if anyone has a step by step. I have a vague memory of Munich Airport, the main station, Pasing and then Günzburg. It has been a while between lockdown and my sister's wedding pushing visits back.

I believe I can take care of that, Peppy!

If you come to Stuttgart it's no problem at all - I will pass the airport on my way to Billund.
It will all depend on the place where we will be staying this time.

I searched for some nice group accomodations in Bavaria, but most of them are already occupied at the proposed dates. :sceptic:
Nevertheless I'm sure we will find something. :sweet:

Safe travels to Billund :head_back:

I am planned to work that weekend, but i'm trying to check if if I could change some days with anyone or something.
Hope I could make it.
