danth Posted September 5, 2025 Posted September 5, 2025 (edited) My goals for this MOC: Make a transforming spaceship with a trans red windscreen and the medium azure 1x4 tile with danger stripe Make the transformation simple Have the different parts lock into place in spaceship mode using clips Make both modes look cool! I have this built in real bricks too, I just need to take some good pics. The transformation feels good, and the arms/legs click satisfyingly into place. Thanks for looking! EDIT: Real bricks! Video of the transformation if anyone wants to see it: Edited September 11, 2025 by danth Quote
SecondHandLego Posted September 5, 2025 Posted September 5, 2025 Very nice design! Good color scheme and both modes indeed look cool Quote
Astatine-209 Posted September 6, 2025 Posted September 6, 2025 Awesome! I concur, this is a sick colour scheme. Quote
GeoBrick Posted September 10, 2025 Posted September 10, 2025 looks like you succeeded on all accounts, Danth. This color scheme ... what shall we call it? Bleyzure? ... works really well. Functions and greebling looks fine. The driver/pilot sits in a comfortable position to steer the craft. And is that a 3x4 transparent red panel on the back of the cockpit? Maybe if the bottom part of that transparent panel was covered by a curved slope or something? But perhaps there's no room for that in 'plane mode. Perhaps the thing that distracts me the most of the model's overall look are those black stripes on the danger stripe tiles. But that's just me. Nice work. Quote

It reminds me of Transformers like Blurr who always seemed super futuristic to me. Trans red seemed like an obvious choice to go with it. 8 hours ago, GeoBrick said: looks like you succeeded on all accounts, Danth. This color scheme ... what shall we call it? Nice work. Thanks! Oh, I really like "Bleyzure"! That just sounds rad. The hinges that connect the body to the "hips" abut the rear transparent panel in spaceship mode so nothing else can occupy that space. Funny that you mention the striped tile because that's what inspired me to do this entire MOC! Although, in my real life version, I moved the stripes to the feet which I kinda like better. Quote
GeoBrick Posted September 12, 2025 Posted September 12, 2025 Ah, now I understand what you meant with locking into place with clips. I thought the 'limbs' of the craft simply held into place because of the rigidity of the joints. Quote
hikouki Posted September 20, 2025 Posted September 20, 2025 This robot is cute and almost has a "GoBots" vibe to it! Quote
