Max_Lego Posted July 8, 2025 Posted July 8, 2025 @MKJoshA, please register this entry to F14 - Zakuul since it's the DS homeworld. Thanks *You entry has earned 16 points (S:5, A:5, T:6) plus 16 bonus = 32 points. Thrawn's small fleet of Star Destroyers exited hyperspace at a safe distance from the dreaded Mugg Fallow system. Before the Mnggal-Mnggal had time to alert the zombie ships in the planet's orbit, TIE squadrons were launched. (Sadly, I didn't have enough imagination to design and build at least some of the ghost ships, so they are omitted) The TIE Bombers launched multiple homing missiles at enemy ships, with TIE Interceptors finishing the job with blaster cannon fire as soon as defeated targets couldn't respond. The Bombers could launch missiles without entering the enemy firing range, which gave them advantage. In roughly one hour there were no zombie ships left, with only one TIE Interceptor lost by accident (with the pilot being killed immediately). The Star Destroyers then began a total orbital bombardment of the planet's surface. The agony of the evil gray mass being obliterated by turbolasers could be seen on the ships' sensors. In two exhausting hours of non-stop bombardment, with the turbolasers starting to run out of ammo, the planet's surface was entirely molten. Due to the significant loss of mass, the planet's gravity was altered, which required correcting the Star Destroyers' trajectories. It's been half an hour since the sensors stopped picking up any life form activity until Thrawn ordered to cease the bombardment. - There's no way anything could survive that, - Captain Kanady commented. - Is this Mnggal-Mnggal finally annihilated for good? - Faro asked Thrawn. - Almost , but not exactly, - Thrawn replied, - small fragments of the Mnggal-Mnggal still exist out there, but now they are scattered and vulnerable. With most of its mass on Mugg Fallow's surface obliterated, the Mnggal-Mnggal lost 99,99% of its power, and regaining it would require too much time. Of course, we won't allow it to happen. Wherever fragments of the Mnggal-Mnggal resurface, we shall destroy it without mercy... ...I'm done here. It could've been much better - I just couldn't put enough effort into it. Quote
Sentinel_Brix Posted July 12, 2025 Posted July 12, 2025 Your take on the bomber is neat. I really like how you integrated the bomb shaft so that you can "feed" the bombs into it. Quote

This is a feature I would've liked to see more often on TIE Bomber MOCs, so having it on my own build was an obvious decision Quote
