His head quarters is located in the city zoo. That way we can have great city sets, cool locations, tons of money, lots of food and animals. Plus we could outfit them in swat gear like xwingyoda did so we can get some more cool armor and new trans shields. Of course you would need a few good based sets so we could have the Alpha team swat truck, a small stake out set, and Dash's house set. I mean the good guys live somewhere don't they? Quote

But only if the following points are covered: - believable vessels - generic torso-prints for the whole team. No weird depiction of equipment of any kind and/or obscure logos! - better face prints sans headsets! Better, in this case, means "universal". It must be something that is not only Alpha-Team. - redesign Ogel or introduce a new threat (no aliens!!!) - use existing parts for space equipment. I would love something a little more modern than Space Port !!! A kind of redesigned Discovery Shuttle, a nice landing capsule... I would lover the MF to have a chrome spacesuit !!!!! Ogel would have an asteroid base that opens with a couple of escape pods and a bigger ship !!!! His crew should wear a fancy yellowish chromish color !!!!! Oh well, back to reality !!!! Quote

Think "Crimson Skies" and "Sky Captain And The World Of Tomorrow" (I've never seen that movie though....). Ogel would have a floating hideout (perfect for avoiding detection) that's covered by artificial stormclouds. Like a wandering thunderstorm. The Team would have small and agile aircrafts and something that resembles either a worldwar II bomber but here it's more of a refueling/reconnaissance vessel...base....thing....whatever ;) The only question: Rotors? Go or no-go?! I mean, Alpha-Team HAS some kind of science-fictiony appeal to it, so rotors would be...too retro, wouldn't they? But jet-engines...I don't know...too fast? Well...just an idea anyway. I'd say they can be designed for the pilot, so some will have jets, some propellors, some both. But Ogel's ships should all be evil looking, futuristic red barons. L'Exocet Posted August 25, 2005 Posted August 25, 2005 My idea would be Alpha Team in mountains, mixing elements from Cliffhanger and James Bond to the Alpha story line. Sets could include a high mountain made of bricks with an extreme north wall, a forest with those wonderful old long pine trees and a wolfpack, a gloomy ravine with grizzly bear. Ogel's base would be located on the summit (like the nest of Blofeld in the "On Her Majesty's Secret Service"). And the Alpha Team is the one theme that really needs (more) guns, so plenty of them in it too. After all, they're fighting the very anti-lego forces :^D I also like the aeroplane idea. It also reminds me of that 70's puppet animation "Captain Scarlett", with a hovering carrier baseship and those sleek Valkyrie Jets. Quote

jmenomeno Posted September 19, 2005 Posted September 19, 2005 Hm, I have felt for a while that Alpha team was a diamond in the rough in terms of a concept. I really like Alpha Team in space (Deep Space Mission?) and would love to see fighter crafts and the asteroid base of Ogel, with death ray and attack craft! On that same thought, I would want a Alpha Team Command Center/Mission Control, with shuttle and support craft. One thing that I wanted to do a while ago was to build a movie studio layout that was actually the Alpha Team headquarters - there would be sets that are being 'shown' that were real facilities, like Mission Control..the ongoing spiel would be that there was a sci-fi film being produced that was about a global threat to peace...what better way to keep something secret than to make it too obvious to believe:-)? This time, Ogel has some help from the mighty Drone General so that the Alpha Team has no chance of stopping him this time. The Alpha Team sets out to stop Ogel from fulfilling his most crucial plan ever with their most powerful machinery of all time. Will they stop Ogel this time, even with the interference of the evil Drone General? Sets: 8901- Alpha Tank VS Phantom Cannon (30-35 dollars) Info: Dash and Charge are using the unbeatable Alpha Tank to track down Ogel's Hallow Headquarters. Dash is manning the X-99 Cannon while Charge is taking care of the controls. But watch out! The Skeleton Drones and the Drone General are keeping guard of the Phantom Cannon that could stop Dash and Charge in their tracks. Includes Dash, Charge, 3 Skeleton Drones, and Drone General. 8902- Drone General (4-5 dollars) Info: The Drone General, commander of the Skeleton Drone Army, is driving his attack ATV to hunt down the Alpha Team and give a helping hand to any Skeleton Drone in need. Includes Drone General and 2 Phantom Orbs. 8903- Skeleton Drone Ambush (15-20 dollars) Info: Arrow and Radia are trying to locate Ogel in their Alpha Outpost. Unfortunately, they are being attacked by a pack of Skeleton Drones who are trying to find out the Alpha Team's secret plans. Can Arrow and Radia fight the treacherous drones off in order to secure the Alpha Team's plans? Includes Arrow, Radia, and 2 Skeleton Drones. 8904- Alpha Team Forest Headquarters (50-60 dollars) Info: Flex, Cam, Crunch, and Dash are guarding the Alpha Team Forest Headquarters so that Skeleton Drones will be forbidden to trespass. But Suddenly, The Skeleton Drone Army attacks the mighty Headquarters with their Mecha Robot and Tank. Send one of the teammates to man the Nouva Cannons and another to fire the rockets in order to defeat the drone army. Will the Alpha Team succeed? Includes Flex, Cam, Crunch, Dash, 4 skeleton drones, Mecha Robot, and Drone Tank. 8905- Skeleton Drones (4-5 dollars) Info: Ogel's Skeleton Drone Army is stronger than ever. The Skeleton Drones have only one mission, to obliderate the Alpha Team. Set includes 10 Skeleton Drones and numerous weapons. 8906- Alpha Team Speeder VS Ogel's Getaway ATV (10 dollars) Info: Dash is on a high speed pursuit on his Alpha Team Speeder to stop Ogel from retreating to his hideout. But Ogel won't let him stop him now, he is armed with bazooka guns on his Getaway ATV. Will Dash stop Ogel in time? Includes Dash and Ogel. 8907- Ogel's Hallow Headquarters (70 dollars) Info: The Alpha Team has finally tracked down Ogel's Hallow Headquarters and Dash, Radia, and Charge are on the scene to foil Ogel's plans once and for all. But Ogel's headquarters has far more traps and surprises than ever before. Watch out for the falling rocks and debris when entering the headquarters. Ogel's Skeleton Drones are also on the scene to stop the Alpha Team in their tracks. The Skeleton Drones use their double Y-67 cannons to terminate the 3 teammates. Will the Alpha team reach Ogel in time to stop him, or will they perish in his headquarters as planned by Ogel? Includes Dash, Radia, Charge, Ogel, and 3 Skeleton Drones. 8908- Alpha Chopper VS Mecha Robot (20 dollars) Info: Flex is flying the Alpha Chopper to find Ogel's Hallow Headquarters but he is suddenly attacked by one of the Drone Army's Mecha Robots. The Mecha Robot is armed with nuclear missiles and laser guns which could destroy the Alpha Chopper in a clockwork. But the Alpha Chopper defends itself with it's cannon and missiles as well. Includes Flex and Skeleton Drone. Quote
