The Big MC Posted June 11 Posted June 11 So i wanted to show my first draft of a modular station i've been working on. The idea behind this is to produce a station that can be modified to fit into a number of layouts quickly and easily. so basically the hole thing is a series of mini builds held together with pins. I'm still tweaking the design to fit a grid based around 6 x 6 studs with elements being 6 x 6,12 x 6 or 18 x 6. I Will have to add some filler sizes due to the tracks. Just wanted to know what people think so far. Quote
Murdoch17 Posted June 11 Posted June 11 (edited) Looks like a good start so far @The Big MC, but I would raise the shelter canopies up a brick in height - the mini-figs walking by will hit their heads on them as it is currently! Edited June 11 by Murdoch17 Quote
The Big MC Posted June 12 Author Posted June 12 thanks for the tip. Your right would keep hitting their heads. Quote
zephyr1934 Posted June 13 Posted June 13 Since you are looking for tips, making a variant of the bridge that can span two tracks. Usually (but not always) stations only have a platform on one side of the track, with a common configuration being two tracks up the middle and a platform on either side of that. Another common configuration is a single platform between two tracks. Quote
