Maybe I've been writing mysteries too long, but as I was reading the history of Knights' Kingdom, I was speculating on what Lego might produce next - and have a hunch.

First, Knights' Kingdom is somewhat like Orient Adventures in that it is a story theme and when first producing, a map of Morcia was provided. Lego SAH provided the story to the theme in the Book of Morcia.

The Book of Morcia provides information re. the "Land of Morcia" that includes the Kingdom of Morcia, the Moorlands, the Citadel, the provinces of each of the four brightly-colored knights, and the Lost Kingdom of Ankoria.

- The initial KK sets included 8777 - 8781 and focussed on the Kingdom of Morcia (displayed on the 1st map).

- The 2nd group of sets included 8799 and 8800 (8799 being the Knights' Castle Wall - which is the castle Talonjay, the 1st province mentioned in the Book of Morcia).

- The 3rd release of KK sest included sets 8873 - 8877 focussing on the Lost Kingdom of Ankoria and Vladek.

- The 4th release - in Germany includes 8801 and 8802 (I call the sea sets - Attack Over the Sea & Sea Fortress).

What's next and where am I going with this?

Lego has three remaining provinces to explore: the next (as mentioned in the Book of Morcia) being the Province of Banteras located in the Great Forest. This is where ancient trees line the forest path and follow the rivers edge. This is the homeland of Rascus who is the green knight. I believe that we may once again see a Forestmen theme/sub-theme in line with the KK story.

Lego could certainly pursue another province but of the four: Talonjay along the coast and Banteras in the forest offers more than the other two (Orkosan resides in farming flatlands and Alendan in peaceful hills). Where would you build if you were Lego?

I definately think that Lego will build a few more KK sets as it is a popular theme and fits in nicely with KK in Legoland. I could be wrong in regard to my hunch but don't be surprised if we see some of these "province-sets". There is much more of the Land of Morcia to explore and the Book of Morcia may be the guide.

Oh yeah, I saw that map ages ago and just assumed that's what LEGO was doing with Knights Kingdom. Then I went on my merry little way too busy thinking about Pirates to pay Knights Kingdom another thought...

I am not sure if KK2 season three will happen.

Reasons against

1. Jayko is the new king

2. Vladek is defeated and his power disperssed

3. Shadow knights are free from Vladeks power

4. The survey answers will cause LEGO to see the value in making siomething a little more classic (I just had to throw that in there)

Reasons for

1. Vladek is a puppet and his master has yet to be revealed

2. In the story they talk much about exiled (sorcerer) King Malleka (or something like that) who dissapeared and he has yet to be connected again (probably Vladeks master)

3. Like Brickster said, the three other providences haven't been used

4. The Shield of ages or any other special weapon of ages hasn't been regained to restore the power of the Orlan years, meaning they have a lot to work with still

I am torn between the two, I think if LEGO really hashes out a cool plot and delivers some sets with nifty new colored armor/weapons or some cool battle between the "all powerful" sorcerer and his gargoyles then yes, bring it on. If all we will get is Vladek rehashed then nah, move on!

I see Forestmen as a great classic castle sub-theme and fits in nicely with the overall plot of KK.

Yes! And from that pointed forward I officially declared that LEGO had let me down. Next time they better get it right!

Does someone know where I can download or read the complete stories from KK1 and KK2, and what's that of Vladek and some rogues from the exiled evil king before Mathias rule? Is it true that the KK3 is based on the last question and in the fact that there are gonna be two new knights? *wacko* *viki*

Phes... out of curiosity... for the monthes before the crappy 4+ Pirates were announced... were there rumours of a new Pirate line coming out and did you know if they were Jack Stone crap at first or was there hope it would be Minifig Scale?

I can't imagine what the letdown would be like. Probably the same as when we all discovered the new Starcraft game was going to be a Third Person Shooter instead of a Strategy game..

I don't think there was ever any news of the 4+ Pirate line before we saw pics. So no, it wouldn't be let down for anyone.

Well... yes... it can certainly be a let down! But there was at least no postivie hype that was crushed by the line...
