Volvo L50H Wheel Loader – 1:21 Scale + instructions

hi everyone,

I’m excited to share my latest LEGO Technic moc: a Volvo L50H wheel loader in 1:21 scale!

This build started as a friendly build battle against a friend, and now I have refined it into a second version, now this moc is finally finished.

Features & Functions:

1. Manual steering for realistic control

2. Working fake engine linked to the drivetrain

3. 4x4 drivetrain to power the fake engine

4. Fully functional arm

5. Interchangeable bucket and forks for versatility

6. Opening hood to see the fake engine move

Challenges & Design Process:

One of the biggest challenges was working at this small scale while keeping everything functional. The first version ended up being too wide, so I had to redesign it for better proportions while maintaining a sturdy structure, this was especially difficult because of the arm in the front,because of the front diff.

It's a nice wheel loader but there is small resemblance to the real Volvo, it should be just a generic moc of a wheel loader

I am planing to record part of the youtube video next to the real one but here is a picture so you can at least properly compare them, on my model there also is a brick build volvo logo on the back, but in the end don't all wheel loaders look the same?

Maybe the main issue is the grey color for the wheels...

that might be it, but the wheels in the instructions are yellow, I just don't have them, since they are more expensive.

thanks, I think this is a cute little model, I went with forks because there isn't really a bucket that fits well in this scale, this one also looks a bit too small
