Ahoy mateys! I recently had the privilege of building the Pirates of Barracuda Bay set and absolutely loved it! I loved the way the ship looked and decided to display it that way, but this left many extra fun pieces (like Palm trees, cargo, docks, etc.,) just sitting around! I wanted something to do with the extra pieces, so I added them to the Lion Knight’s Castle in an attempt to make it look somewhat like the large Caribbean fortresses/outposts similar to that seen in the Pirates of the Caribbean films. (Speaking of that, if you haven’t viewed my much smaller Port Royal MOC, please take a look here: https://www.eurobricks.com/forum/forums/topic/200899-moc-pirates-of-port-royal/#comment-3750384 ). I still think that the castle looks a little too castle-y and it may be fun to one day disassemble it to build a pirate/soldier fortress MOC using only those pieces. Also, I didn’t have enough pieces to do anything different to the castle on the inside, as I restricted myself to using only the extra pieces from the pirates of barracuda bay set as a fun little challenge! The redcoat flags and soldier/pirate figures are the only things I added to the set that are from neither 21322 Pirates of Barracuda Bay or 10305 Lion Knight’s Castle! One thing I love is that the height of the entry to Lion Knight's Castle matches the height (to the stud) of the Barracuda ship!

:pir-triumph:Also, I just did a very slight mod to the 10236 Ewok Village in an attempt to make it "pirate-y" which can be seen here: https://www.eurobricks.com/forum/forums/topic/201210-moc-10236-ewok-village-would-make-a-great-potc-cannibal-escape-4182/

The Lion castle looks quite fitting as a Caribbean outpost. Makes me think of a vastly upscaled Sabre Island. Nice modification to make it work.
