Yeah, I agree Miss Wednesday and Miss All Sunday are very important characters that can't be omitted. That's why, this is my list of guesses for the wave:

$30 set: Willower Bike. Minifigures of Luffy, Smoker and Dragon.

$60 set: Twin Capes/Laboon. Minifigures of Luffy, Nami, Crocus, Miss Wednesday and Mr 9. Brick built Laboon.

$70 set: Chopper brick built. Minifig of Strong Point Chopper.

$70 set: Giants. Minifigures of Luffy, Usopp, Mr 3, Miss Goldenweek, Mr 5, Miss Valentine. Brick built Dorry and Brogy.

$100 set: Drum Island Castle. Minifigures of Luffy, Zoro, Sanji, Chopper, Wapol, Kureha and Dalton or Hiruluk.

$140 set: Garp's ship. Minifigures of Garp, Bogard, Koby, Helmeppo, Smoker, Tashigi, Miss All Sunday and a marine soldier.

Are we 100% sure this will be the full list of sets? It occurs to me that if they were to do an even bigger D2C set in addition to the regular retail sets like they did with Baratie, Loguetown might be a pretty good subject—especially since they could potentially include both characters from the Season 2 arc as well as ones from the flashback to Gold Roger's execution (a Gold Roger fig would certainly be a hell of a selling point on its own!).

I could see Loguetown as a D2C set working sort of similar to some modulars or the various Diagon Alley sets, featuring several of the shops Luffy's crew visits off to the sides with the execution platform in the square as the main centerpiece.

@Bloquerto: Nice list! No Igaram though, and two Smokers is a bit overkill :laugh_hard: Also, not sure how likely Dr Hiriluk is, given he’s a

posthumous character.

Not 100%, but last year we knew about the Baratie’s set number from the get-go. It’s possible a D2C set is still in the cards, but I doubt it at this point :shrug_oh_well:

That's a great idea but sadly not likely though I would love to be wrong.

Honestly, I'm a bit scared for the life span of this theme. I don't know how well its sales were but I'm seeing a lot of discounts in sites like Amazon. That worries me but time will tell. That's the issue of based the sets on the live action show instead of the anime because now the life span of the theme depends on how well the live action show is doing it.

However, given LEGO's recent approach to anime with the supposedly Dragon Ball set for this year and Yugioh set for next year, I guess if this theme dies it can return in the future but this time with sets based on the anime.

Thanks! And yeah, I think two Smokers is too much but I badly want a Dragon minifig and that's the only way I think we could get him.

I ordered the Going Merry recently, planning to build it when the new season came out. But yesterday was super dreary and depressing so I ended up starting it early. Finished it this morning and was very impressed—I love a good ship build due to how it combines the fun of a vehicle set with the interiors/living space of a building, and this set doesn't disappoint in that respect, with great furnishings and very logical access to each area. Love the minifigures and the wanted posters, even if I got one duplicate (two Kuros, a Buggy, and a Luffy). The randomization is very blatantly meant to encourage you to buy more sets, but I can't say it doesn't work—I'm tempted to pick up another set like Arlong Park to maybe replace this one as the set to build while I watch.

Hoping that when the new season drops we might also get a reveal or teaser for the new sets!

Fingers crossed!! Kinda crazy that TLG is pretty late with these sets compared to other toy manufacturers who already have their merch on shelves :snicker: But if this means they don’t have to hold back with spoilers in regards to some characters, I’m all for it!

A teaser would be really nice though.
