Overcold Posted January 11, 2025 Posted January 11, 2025 I'm not sure if this is the right forum to ask, but I'll give it a shot anyways. I've been interested in looking at prototype sets. The documentation tends to not be very thorough though, and some prototype images are in obscure corners of the internet or take a while to find (Like the Grand Emporium and Downtown Diner). Even worse, I happened to accidentally stumble upon one in 2019 that I can no longer find: LEGO Creator Small Cottage 31009-1 (2013) It was around the release of the Corner Garage and I believe I was looking through one of the designers personal websites, or something related to that. The designer of the garage is also the designer of the Small Cottage, and there was an image of it on the site after clicking through a few old links. The image however, was an earlier version of the set with some notable differences: -There was no skateboard, nor was there a blue pond. -Instead, the yard was slightly larger and there was a big tree similar to that of 5766 Log Cabin (2011). -Between the tree and house, a yellow brick-built hammock was draped. Being brick built, it did look like a little odd (like a blocky banana almost) so that's likely why it was cut. It was built using sideways slopes and curves hinged in the middle to simulate slack, then had 2 small string elements at either end, allowing it to swing like a real hammock. If anyone else has seen this image or can help me find it that would be very appreciated, I'm very disappointed in myself for not downloading a copy of it to archive somewhere. Quote
