simonjedi Posted August 2, 2008 Posted August 2, 2008 I was bored one day and realised how "clean" the lego rebel helmets are, so I grabbed a spare pilot luke helmet and my citidel inks and paints and weathered it, I intend to use it as a Veteran pilot's helmet. THe results are below: ^ Thats what the helmet looks like on Luke. Now just the helmet: Side view 1: Side view 2: back: Reference/Inspiration So what do you think? If you want any other pics e.g luke in his X-wing or something i'll get them done ASAP or maybe a tutorial Quote
Dark Sword Ragnarok Posted August 2, 2008 Posted August 2, 2008 Wow, that looks pretty darn good! DSR Quote
Derek Posted August 2, 2008 Posted August 2, 2008 Awesome! You should try it with one of the new Rebel Trooper helmets. darthperson Quote
Manta Posted August 2, 2008 Posted August 2, 2008 Thats great. You should try that with the rebel helmets, and maybe with a stormtrooper. Quote
BlueBard Posted August 2, 2008 Posted August 2, 2008 (edited) It really looks far far better. I love it! Nevertheless now the rest of the pilot's equipment looks too new and clean... , but great work anyway Edited August 3, 2008 by BlueBard Quote
Pickerel Posted August 2, 2008 Posted August 2, 2008 (edited) WOW that looks great. I'm not really sure if it looks too good on LEGO though, it's a lot more realistic than a normal LEGO body part would be. Maybe it would look better if you customized an entire pilots body. Justin2224 Posted August 5, 2008 Posted August 5, 2008 Cool, I have a helmet like that. I don't why why, but when I got my old AT-AT I thought, since I had snowspeeder and Pilot Luke already, I would color it black with sharpie. I used alchohol to get it off, but that failed, and it looked like that as a result. Quote
Axle Posted August 7, 2008 Posted August 7, 2008 To make it look better, try Hikaru's head, if the eyes weren't so big it may work. Quote
darkrebellion Posted August 7, 2008 Posted August 7, 2008 Wow that helmet looks awesome, great custom simonjedi. This surely looks more realistic than the official one . Quote
