Background: Iya is around 20 standard years old and is member of the Fallanassi, an order adept in using the white current - a synonym for the Force.

Name: Luke Skywalker
Species: Human
Affiliation: New Republic, Jedi
Objective: Luke is on the track of some lost Jedi lightsabers and now investigating some obscure cultists calling themselves Reborn.
Background: No need to introduce Luke. He's the Jedi who destroyed the first Death Star and was involved in the destruction of the second as well. He's a hero and carries the burden of expectations of the whole New Republic.

Antagonists:

Name: Tho-Ral Jowns
Species: human
Affiliation: Reborn Empire, Acolytes of the Beyond
Objective: Finding his sister and overthrowing the Rebel Rule
Background: Formerly a Jedi youngling with his twin sister Ramalon, Tho-Ral and her became agents of the Empire and part of the Inquisitorius, some time after the new order took control. To completly break his will, the Emperor presumably gave order to Darth Vader to kill Tho-Rals sister. Tho-Ral learned about her whereabouts from another former youngling named Nick Wosh. After Tho-Ral failed to kill the latter, the two allied and went to search for Ramalon. At some point, this alliance broke and Tho-Ral was consumed by the Dark Side again...

Name: The Doctor, real name unknown
Species: human, modified
Affiliation: Reborn Empire, Acolytes of the Beyond
Objective: Create an army of Reborn Dark Jedi for his new masters
Background: First and foremost, the Doctor is a scientist. More than 20 years ago, he worked on a secret project to infuse 'the Force' into living beings at Mt. Tantiss, lead by director Hemlock. The project got cancelled, but the Doctor survived and travelled the galaxy. At some point he met the Witches of Dathomir, where he learned more about the obscure rite of reviving the dead.  Combining his learnings he offers his knowledge to those daring to go beyond the unspeakable...

Background: The Reborn came out of nowhere, but they use the force, although Luke Skywalker sensed their presence to be kind of 'warped'

Middle City of Taris. An old power generator building, now used as a garage for one of the infamous Tarisian Swoop racers. A Galactic Enterpreneur, soldier of fortune and Rebel Hero is sneaking around and making an important discovery…

» Look what we have here... «

» Hey, what are you doing here?! Identify yourself! «

» It's not my fault! I was just admiring this swoop machine and - «

» Luke! Thanks, but I almost coaxed them into giving me all the information. «

» Sure you have. Lando? Good to see you. «

» Oh, who we have here? I am Lando Calrissian. Galactic Entrepreneur and a friend of Luke's. «

» Iya Qu'an. Nice cape and nice to meet you. «

» So what have you found, Lando? «

» You set me on these Dark Acolytes and I asked around, you know. One thing led to the other and now I'm here.

They were smuggling these from Coruscant. «

» Lightsabers! They are for the Reborn. «

» Well combined, detective Jedi, muhaha! Now you all have to die... «

 

Three Reborn Dark Jedi appear and an intense fight begins...

» That's impossible! «

Now, young Skywalker, you will die...

» Argh! No!  «

» Luke! «

» I'm ok. This - this powers reminded me of... «

» I... I didn't want to... «

» It's ok, Iya. These Reborn are vessels for the Dark Side. Not really alive anymore. I will stop it. All of this. «

» You alone? «

» It's too dangerous for you to stay with me. That holds for Lando too. I cannot protect you. «

But I feel the White Current! «

»  But you can't control it. You are brave, but you require training... Training I cannot provide you. Not now. «

Lando will take you to safety. Lando? «

» Sure... I can get you off-world, Iya. «

» I understand... Jedi Luke? May the White Current flow through you. «

» Haha, and the Force be with you, Iya. «

» He'll be fine. Hey, there is a big New Republic Gala I'm attending soon. Maybe you want to be my guest, Iya? I can show you a bit around. «

 Hello and welcome to the next episode of Jedi Quest!

The garage is my second attempt to build a circular base after the Prologue for RotLA. I’m quite happy how it turned out, although there was some tweaking necessary as the wing-plates do not make up a perfect 180° half circle, which was annoying.

The build comprises an old energy generator room that is used as a garage for a swoop racer now. The swoop is a reminiscence of the one on Taris from the old KotOR game. Here I reused parts from from my M4-24 pod racer and modified them to fit with the wings and engines. Also the color scheme of the racer reminds of Anakins pod racer.

The Reborn are expanded by the dark blue variant here. Not sure if I can introduce the orange and the green one to some day

Last but not least, there is another familiar face showing up with Lando. I gave him some new clothes as this fella is known for his extravagancy and having a fitting cape to any of his garment. I hope you like this version!

 

I guess the Jedi Quest Arc with Luke is coming to an end here. I don't want to over-use and own him here too much. Please give me feedback what you think. But there definitely will be a "Wiedersehen" with Iya Qu'an soon!

Credits to @Professor Thaum for the control panel of the power core I got inspired by a lot! Also to let the cables and hoses disappear in the ground was a cool idea I took as a reference from here.

This is so cool All the details, the speeder, Luke using the force on the troopers, the lightsaber fights, the brief Palpatine reminiscence and of course Lando! Nien Nunb's torso suits him well!

The Jedi arc is comming to an end? It feels it just has started! I wouldn't mind if you continue this story (with Iya turning into the main protagonist if you don't want to overuse Luke).

I'm happy you liked the reminiscence of Palpatine Yperio  That was a tough decision how to realize it convincingly.

No no! Only Lukes arc within Jedi Quest might be coming to an end. The story with Iya will further unfold, but Luke is now way beyond a cameo and becoming a regular in this series.

I have mixed feelings. He's kinda my favorite character (boring, I know ) and it's tempting to use him further. It's similar to the Mandalorian series on D+. Luke is always the hero and spotlight is on him, when used. So I think I might move away from his path (he still will be investigating the Reborn activities in the background) and concentrate on my Mysteries character Iya Qu'an and introduce some other originals. That doesn't mean Luke won't reappear someday. But I wanted to read your feedback how you perceived his usage and character in my little arc here...

Lovely swoop, reminds me of the KOTOR games. And your garage is incredible. I love the orange stripe along the walls. The walls already look good, but that little bit of color is a nice touch. And your story is great too.
