Out in the wilderness of Avalonia there are all kinds of creatures, big and small. You don't always notice them. In a meadow, some of the small folk have settled down in an old, abandoned boot.

Here they grow berries from which they make good cider drinks. They are especially fond of lingonberries.

This such a great idea.  The vibrant colors and plants really draw you in.  The different plants and insects are so detailed.  The old boot design is wonderful.  This whole build just seems alive great job.

Thanks alot. It's my primary goal with builds that I show on exhibitions. That the observer wants to go into the build and walk around. The boot was the fiest thing I built. And the part that took the most time.

Great job!  I didn't realize the building was a boot right away!

Thanks. It is well hidden in the glass and flowers

Amazing work! Some of the details that stand out to me:

  • The use of the dome to represent berries, where the stud becomes the flower-end
  • The green grass stalks with stacks of 5-petaled flowers on top. I see grass like that every spring and summer!
  • Flower headpieces repurposed as actual flowers
  • You get a sense of the interior structure of the boot/factory from those tiny little windows in the side
  • Old wine bottle as a greenhouse!

It's all so charming!
