In case you missed it, you can lower the render quality from the setting panel for faster viewport interaction and switching between pages and sub-models in general

Thanks for the tip:). I checked my settings and the rendering quality was on the second highest level. So i lowered it to middle level. Let see if that helps:).

Allright now i will take a break. Now this has surpassed the 8043 with piece count;).

Currently this model has 1160pcs. And i have installed the main motor drivetrain, first 2 functions and the drivetrain for the chassis gearboxes:).

Allright now the superstructure gearbox is done. Pieces so far 1380pcs:).

I will now go to bed it's 21:29 or 9:29PM. And continue this montage tomorrow. Today i started the work at 7:45 or 7:45AM. So over 12h of building with minimal breaks:).

And i will now have to mentaly prepare my self for tomorrow. Since tomorrow will be h*llish day, because i will build the 8043 boom. I hope it will go smoothly. But im still worried for my U joint skills. That's why my models don't use a lot of U joints:).

And now, finaly the 3d model is done final piece count 2199pcs. But it will shrink due to the u joints and small linear actuator became a single piece on rebrickable part list:).

Currently this has 804 pages with 804 building steps:).

Ok, i have done more play testing for the excavator and it’s really fun to play with. I cannot wait to release this. Im really excited for the launch. I hope by monday i will get the free Gen3 instructions done. Im soo excited to launch my next flagship to you:).

And i will promise this will eat the 42215 for a feast;).

And this wont dissapoint like the sad 42215:).

And my gen 3 instructions are apparently so dumbed down that the much bigger 42215 has fewer building steps. The 42215 has 611 vs my model's 804 pages:).

My model has 2172pcs

The 42215 has 2359pcs

And the newest one will be the first with my created model name. Normaly i use the real world names like the Mechatech Logging Truck. But this one has my created and invented model name:).

The new model is of course proud member of the Mechatech lineup and proud holder of the title flagship model:).

And as a little sidenote the Mechatech line up's name is a homage/tribute to the legendary Air-Tech Claw Rig model name:).

Allright my first upper gearbox design had few weird quirks. So i had to rework the gearing. Now it doesn't anymore have any quirks:).

Well, after this gearbox overhaul. Due to new gearing. The boom functions are slightly slower than on the real 8043. But for me it isin't painfully slow like 42215 in video's. But when i will release this new flagship, it would be nice to hear your feedback is it too slow. The superstructure rotation is slow. I will admit that. But it does run so well and smoothly with the slower gearing:).

But unlike the 42215 while this is slightly on slower side. You can operate 4 functions no problem att the same time and you can control all the boom functions(3) at the same time:).

Different style playtesting. For those who wants to operate the excavator with 2 hands on the gearbox levers. Controlling preciously/carefully different parts of the boom:).

And yes, this is again really fun way to play/interact with the model and without any Smartbrick crap or 42215 one lever controlling 4 functions at snails pace crap:).

Well, i wasn't planning to buy this. But today i went to my second local hypermarket the K Citymarket and i went firstly to the outlet section to see discounted clearance items and on top shelf i noticed one of these beauties and i could not resist for the deal. So i picked up this last copy for only 45€ normaly at the K Citymarket this is 79€(K Citymarket and Prisma are pretty expensive stores to buy lego normally, Kärkkäinen usually is the cheapest to buy lego in here:).

Well, now i have unique printed tires and suspension arms for my collection:).

And interestingly the first F1 Car the McLaren senna F1 set was on discount for 50€. So this was newer and cheaper with better wheels;).

Allright the Mechatech Mechavator has been pretty successful on rebrickable and im really happy for it's success and after a while i have been more happy with the Mechatech Mechavator and now it has reached to being my favorite build what i have created. Plus all the motorized functions works so well and it's really fun to play with. So the Mechatech Mechavator will be now my S tear moc crown jewel:).
