AdamFMX Posted September 8, 2024 Posted September 8, 2024 (edited) Hello all, I spent quite lot of time to figure out how to do good steering for my Tatra chassis. It is very different from others-it has halfaxles pivoting around one axis while differentials are present. And that is fact, why it is different-most of MOCs with halfaxles pivoting around one axis dont have diffs because there is no room or diffs are present, but on designs with halfaxles pivoting around two points. This is only issue of my chassis-I found one solution but it is far from optimal-mostly becasue small steering angle. The fact, that steering rod is in front of axle, so no Ackerman, is obvious and logical-there is no room for it from other side (or maybe?). P.S. Current wheels are not final ones but model would work with these too (planned are from Audi RS Q e-tron Dakar car but LDD doesnt have them in repo-I have Stud.io too but I am not much familiar with it) Any ideas are welcome!
