Marvelous Bricks Posted August 24, 2024 Posted August 24, 2024 (edited) I present to you my Lamborghini Huracan EVO RWD Alternate Build from the 42154 Ford GT. With this model I tried to achieve both accuracy and functionality and I am very happy with the end result! Features: Working steering wheel HOG steering (removable) Scissor door mechanism with lever V10 engine Opening engine compartment Opening hood This was a very challenging build and the details prove it. With some trial and error, I implemented a working steering wheel and HOG mechanism so you get the best of both worlds! Even though the real car has normal doors I implemented scissor doors to provide more functionality to the build. For the scissor doors I used a similar mechanism as the 42115 Lamborghini Sian. The doors stay locked in place when fully opened. There is a lever in the back to operate the doors. This MOC utilizes a modified version of the V8 piston engine (6x6x5 studs) by SUPER8_LTG to create a compact and stable V10 engine that runs smoothly under high rpms. thekoRngear Posted August 26, 2024 Posted August 26, 2024 Boy, you nailed that door opening and closing! So smooth and perfect! Kinda sorta resembles the 42115 Lambo Sian. Brilliant! 👏 Quote
gyenesvi Posted August 26, 2024 Posted August 26, 2024 (edited) I like the smooth clean lines on this one, and the door mechanism also seems quite nice! Great job! Edited August 26, 2024 by gyenesvi Quote

It was quite challenging to recreate in this scale since I had very little space to work with. But I'm very glad it worked out! 2 hours ago, gyenesvi said: I like the smooth clean lines on this one, and the door mechanism also seems quite nice! Great job! Thanks a lot! I've made a lot of changes (especially the front) before achieving the final result. Quote
