Today: Just a small excavation site where Johnny and the gang are digging for some dino fossils - and an extension for my paleontological research site.

What do you think? Critics and comments are welcome!

Wish this had been a set when I was knee deep in my love for this theme as a kid. I love how as the build progresses it tells a story, excellent work!

Thank you very much!

Small build, but accurate. Nicely done.

Thank you very much. I tried to built it only 3 plates  = 1 brick high to fit it with this large 12x24 brick but that wouldn't work with the different layers of the pit and the skeleton in it. So I went for 4 plates as you can see in the photos.

Thank you very much!

Looks awesome! Makes me wonder how this dinosaur looks (built like) under that dirt and grass...

The dino looks like that - it has the same size: :classic:

Have you thought about the green being tan or dark nougat? Most dinosaur fossils tend to be found in badlands areas. Great build that keeps in the spirt of classical 90s adventures!

Thank you very much. The green is supposed to be grass on the surface. Mud and soil are just beneath (tan and dark tan).
