I don't quite get why somone would sell a MOC. That smells like just a money making operation to me. :hmpf_bad: Anyway it is WAY overpriced for 2500 pieces, even the imperial star destroyer was cheaper and had quite a lot of more bricks...

In the description of the starship the seller wrote he paid even more than 400€ (on BL I assume) to get the bricks.

To me it smells more like "I started something I wasn´t able to overlook and now I run out of money".

But looking at the non-existing replies to this offer you´re surely right - it IS overpriced (you could get a Taj Mahal for this)!

I'm not at all surprised at the selling of MOCs, especially when they come with directions, at which point they become "custom kits" I know of a fellow who makes superb MOCs, and has sold one or two of them for more than the pieces are worth, and he doesn't even include instructions.

I'm not sure about this particular "pieces missing" deal, (not worth for me, but for the right fan...)but if someone takes the time to create something unique or high quality, I see no reason not to sell it.
