Hello, I am building a MOC and I ran into a part discrepancy issue. My model utilizes the hinge on the left (slot with no circle). When I placed an order for more of these on bricklink, I received exclusively the ones on the right. I assumed I ordered the wrong variant but I cannot find any documentation on this difference. The problem is my moc relys heavily on the fairly stiff resistance of the left (slot only) style. The one on the right is very loose by comparison and is not compatable with my design. I know these have to be different parts because the injection sites are on opposite studs. Can anyone identify the specific part numbers of each so I can get my hands on more of the slotted type for my build? Thanks

It's yet another new part variant of the hinge plates and not treated as different by Bricklink. Buy used as there's probably not too many of the new type become used yet?

Ok, glad to hear I didn't miss something obvious. Buying 30% more than I need of "used" parts and sorting them by type and stiffness was my plan if no one responded to this post. Seems like I'm on the right track, thank you

Hello

2429 and 2430 are still the only two hinge plate parts available on Bricklink. Also in MLCAD.

On a side note, when you want to insert a picture in your post, do not upload it directly to Eurobricks.
Upload it on any image hosting site, and then just paste the link in your post. The picture will be shown here.

Good luck with the moc!

The only way to be sure on BL is to contact a seller in advance and ask them to look into the part. Many list on their shop welcome page that you can contact them about such things, and are willing to do that if you search for a specific version of the part that BL doesn't separate, and you can tell them what you wish them to look for.
