Metal91 Posted April 23, 2024 Posted April 23, 2024 Hello, I dug up some ancient topic on the matter and I got the suggestion of using vacuum cleaners with some type of filter to avoid sucking tiny parts. That said, the last post was from many years ago and perhaps now there are better tools (or items that you've personally tested and "validated", and I mean, specific model or brand (even amazon link)). There are countless cleaners online, with price ranges from 20 to 150€, but I don't know what to look for to understand if they got a powerful suck or not (the rpm?). I have some sets that have been sitting for long in a dusty place, and the dust is kinda stuck, as if it was mixed with grease or something. Blow air cans are not enough (they'll blow dust bunnies away, but there's still some dust stuck). Any recommendation for this type of heavy dust, without the need of taking the sets apart? Or I have to make peace with that and have to clean them one by one? If so, what do you suggest specifically? Thank you Quote
Kit Figsto Posted April 29, 2024 Posted April 29, 2024 One life hack I've discovered for any sort of cloth elements (capes, fabric canopies, sails, etc) is to use a lint roller. Pulls the dust right off! Quote
