[MOC] Arishem the Judge

Hello there,

Thank you for taking a look at this MOC. While many Marvel fans might tell you 2021's Eternals was a dud it's one of my personal favorite MCU movies. I've been obsessing over the designs of the Celestials ever since the movie came out and always thought LEGO did a fine job recreating the main Celestial 'Arishem the Judge' in set 76155 "In Arishem's Shadow" considering the constrictions they have to work with. Shortly after the movie released and I had collected sufficient reference material I set out to create a MOC of Arishem that's a bit bigger than the set and as close to screen-accurate as possible. Although this first attempt would be abandoned a few months later after hitting roadblock after roadblock I restarted the project again in late 2023 with newly required skills and techniques resulting in what you see below. Despite his elongated limb Arishem is remarkably sturdy and he has just enough posability to recreate most of his movements in the film. 

 

And a small extra: as the model was initially designed digitally I asked a good friend of mine if he could take a crack at recreating the final scene of the movie.
