Hello,

I have read the Eurobricks forums for some time but this is my first post. First, thanks to all the posters here. The MOCs posted have given me ideas and the reviews of sets have helped me decide how best to utilize my LEGO budget.

Here are some pictures of my town (let's see if I type this code correctly).

First, here's a shot looking from the harbor back to the city. At the very bottom there is a coast guard base which is currently in progress; behind that you can see a 6542 and then above the water there is (from left to right) Cafe Corner, Market Street, a yellow building with a FedEx-type store and a tapas bar in it, and a tower which houses a bank.

This yellow building is the State House, the building in which the national government meets (obviously, inspired by set # 4554). The red building in the back is the Viking Museum and there is a temporary fire station on the right.

Rather than put a bunch of pictures in this post, I'll just give a link to my Brickshelf page which has several more views:

My town will forever be "in progress" so if you have suggestions on how to improve it I'd appreciate hearing them. I have designed (on LDD) an italian restaurant, a sushi bar, a sports bar, a barber shop, a florist shop, a pharmacy, an electronics store, a real estate office and a church but it will take a while to get this stuff built (bricks ain't cheap). I'd love to include my train and/or monorail but I have no room on the table right now.

welcome :)

I really like what you've done with the city accross two levels. In the first picture it looks in the bottom right coner as though the city has been built on the ruins of another city? (stacked road plates) .

look forward to some more pcis, like what is the small building by the cement truck?

Nice Town I really like the harbor do you have more photo's of it? I am interested in the step down that the harbor takes from the town, I have been trying to figure out how to do it.

Thanks for the post and Welcome.
