Small-scale brick-built letters

Hey all-

I'm building an Alien Conquest-themed terrain piece for my BrikWars games, and I'm trying to figure out a way to build "ADU" into the wall, about three bricks high. I was having a hard time finding things on Google, so I figured I'd ask the fine folks of Eurobricks- how do you all make brick-built text and letters? I messed around with shield pieces and slopes for a while but couldn't figure anything out myself.

It will be hard if you wantvto match the font style. However AC had a few sets with stickers. You could use one of those on a panel if you want a perfect match in style.

It can probably be done with tiles, depending on how good you want the font to be. You could use some quarter rounded ones on those round edges of letters but at the cost of having small openings (and a plate behind not to make them stand out).
