A new frontier of mini replica has been achieved! With 276 parts, this is the most compact mini build so far.

This new thing is so wild I couldn't believe it was achievable, but it is finally been done!!!!

Reveal coming soon after test build. But this thing is truly wild.

It's been quiet in here lately so here's another thing that I'm working on. Hello old friend.

(Old friend: a part I haven't seen for a while  /  a mechanism I've done before  /  a type of model I''ve done before

Is it the Osprey's dreaded grinding gears?

I'm not really into doing mini replicas for cars, but the Nissan Skyline looks fun to do. It's also convenient that there is already small mudguard in LBG. Also a mini replica would go better with the Toyota Supra. Maybe I'll do a mini replica for the Dodge as well.

Good idea. I think the dodge would actually look better in a smaller scale. As for the skyline, I think suspension is something I'd accept letting go if as a trade off for keeping AWD in the skyline.

According to the blueprint a mini Skyline should have a width of 19 studs, and that's more than enough to put AWD.

Just look at the image right above my most recent post  That thing is only 17 studs wide.

Looking good! Maybe you can use grill pieces instead of flat tiles though?

I can't find a solution for grill pieces covering 7 studs sadly.

Maybe stacked tiles would give a more convincing illusion then, the lines where they join could be more convincing than a flat plate. Or if you get custom stickers that works too.

Yeah, an odd length for those would be very handy in the Technic world

In general I don't show WIP designs but since I already posted this in the other thread, a mini 42209 Volvo L120 is in the work. I actually whipped this up before official photos are out, and I used the official blueprint insted.
