2GodBDGlory Posted January 22 Posted January 22 That is a real shame about Bricklink! So are you thinking you can just use a VPN to get into the website, and then hope the seller doesn't care what country they're shipping to? Quote

Indeed, my regular shop told me they would still ship to me. For other shops I think I'd shoot them an inquiry email before placing orders. Edited January 22 by Ngoc Nguyen Quote

The 16t gear will now rotate most possible smoothest way [when the frames are finally fully attached/mounted]! That's the spirit man! Keep going on! I'm not sure I get what you meant by that but since you seem to like it here's what it looks like on the other side Quote
Ngoc Nguyen Posted February 1 Author Posted February 1 (edited) It's already Feb 1st and Bricklink apparently still works in my country, for some reasons. Not that I'm complaining haha. Edit: Nvm it's no longer available... Edited February 1 by Ngoc Nguyen Quote
Ngoc Nguyen Posted February 1 Author Posted February 1 The good news is that I can still visit stores and put items into carts. Only the checkout part is unavailable. I guess I can just put all I want from a shop into the cart, create an XML list based on that, and ask the shop to prepare the order accordingly. Quote

Hopefully that works for you. Were there any Vietnamese stores you used that would be entirely shut down? Quote

I never ordered from any VNmese store because there arent many, and the few that exist all focus on minifigs or System parts. Quote
Ngoc Nguyen Posted February 2 Author Posted February 2 I'm using a VPN and changed my location to both Singapore and Netherlands but the checkout function is still not available. This is getting more annoying than I expected. Quote
Ngoc Nguyen Posted February 2 Author Posted February 2 It turns out that the solution is very simple. The checkout function is only not available simply because my account's shipping address is in VN. Once I've changed my address, the checkout button is avaialble again. No need for VPN or any fancy tech. Quote

Thirdwigg Posted Friday at 02:52 PM Posted Friday at 02:52 PM Great little Unimog. Do you have a gearbox that is being controlled on the side? How many gears are available? I like the crane idea, but yeah, it looks a little big here. Quote

How many gears are available? The side knob controls the linked differential locks. The chassis is taken directly from my mini 42129, which looks like this. Speaking of which, that's the problem I'm facing at the moment. I havent decided about what to put in the back. I'm not really fond of a crane since I've done a number of crane trucks already. I was wondering if I can ask for some suggestions from you perhaps. Edited Friday at 03:02 PM by Ngoc Nguyen Quote

Thirdwigg Posted Friday at 08:03 PM Posted Friday at 08:03 PM I keep all my ideas in this Pinterest Folder, but I always start with a 3 way tipper. I've never done a hooklift, so that would be my suggestion. Quote
Ngoc Nguyen Posted Sunday at 02:49 AM Author Posted Sunday at 02:49 AM I'll make this a challenge to myself and will try to do this version. It will be very hard, but that's what makes this fun! I'm also expecting the 42242 to be in the same arrangement. https://special.mercedes-benz-trucks.com/fileadmin/user_upload/Images/Special_Trucks/Themen/Messen-Events/Unimog-Tour/Exponatesteckbriefe/Exponatesteckbrief_U5023_Kran.pdf Quote
