Captain Sinclair Posted August 7, 2023 Posted August 7, 2023 Hello, this is my MOC that I recently completed and displayed at Brickfair Chantilly 2023, the HMS Warrior. She was the world's first iron-hulled warship and carried 42 guns, ranging from Armstrong breech-loading 110-pounders to muzzle-loading 68-pounders to the various deck guns. She was launched in 1860 to counter the threat provided by the French La Gloire and turned out to be the most advanced and fastest warship of the time, with abundant space as compared to the standard capital ship of the time, washing machines, bathtubs, ventilation, and better medical facilities. She was 419 feet long in real life, 11 in my MOC, built at 1:45 scale, and contains 4-5 hundred Minifigures. Here are some pictures: Quote

Marooned Marin Posted August 9, 2023 Posted August 9, 2023 Impressive, simply impressive, both in looks and in time-frame of only 6 months. Well done! For those new in these waters, visit and look @Captain Sinclair version of HMS Victory - and brace yourself for some jaw dropping interior Quote
