[MOC] LAAT Republic Gunship

Hello again. After getting great feedback on my Millennium Falcon MOC that I shared recently, I have decided to share another MOC that I have made. This time the Republic Gunship. I would love to get some thoughts and opinions on it. I am generally happy with how it looks, but I feel there is something off about it and I can quite put my finger on it. Thank you for you time.

I feel like the cockpits should be slightly bigger in every dimension, but I don't think there is a way to accomplish this at the scale you've chosen

This is a really nice design for the scale! It doesn't look off to me, really. Upon long study, the only thing I can think of that might help the look is slightly longer gun barrels front and back. but that's my only guess.

This perhaps is the shortest, yet a very accurate summary of my reaction. Although Thrawn's quote "But it was so artistically done" would be even better.

I really wouldn't mind to have you post at this frequency.

Thank you everyone for the kind words. I changed the gun barrels to be a little longer and tweaked the nose a little bit, and I am now very happy with it.

All the versions are great, but I like the sliding doors with the open viewports most. Really dislike how Lego puts just flat tiles on their own models; that's why I'm still on the fence about their latest gunship. Thanks for sharing!
