Trexxen Posted July 14, 2008 Posted July 14, 2008 E3. The name alone sends chills up the spines of hardcore and casual gamers alike. And it's happening right now. We can use this topic to discuss the high points (and low points) of E3 08, such as game announcements, DLC announcements, or new gaming consoles (should any of THEM be announced.) The Microsoft conference just ended; some very juicy info there. Highlights included RE5, Fable 2, Fallout 3, Gears of War 2, the entire Rock Band 2 setlist being revealed (it was the leaked tracklist), and finally, Final Fantasy 13 being announced for the XBox 360... (Oh, and Microsoft is partnering up with Netflix, NBC, Universal, and more to bring TV and Movies to the Xbox.) Any comments? (I'm going to need a bigger hard drive with all of the Rock Band stuff that's going to be released...*shudder*) ~Trexxen Quote
5150 Lego Posted July 14, 2008 Posted July 14, 2008 Did they anounce anything about Doom 4? I know it was just earlier this year that they only anounced they were going to bemaking the game, but thought maybe, just maybe they might have anounced a projexted realse date, or some leaked monsters/demons. Plural Posted July 15, 2008 Posted July 15, 2008 I just sat throught the entire sony conference and I was rather impressed by some of the upcoming games and pieces of software the PS3 is getting in the coming year. The cool part about the sony presentation was they did a whole segmenat of the presenation using Little Big Planet, a game which lets you build your own levels. Perhaps if I have time I'll give the Nintendo and Microsoft ones a view but I'm not that interested. Quote
