Hi all,

Since there are rumors of a new Pirate-themed fort Lego Icons set being released soon, I wanted to share a digital moc I created a couple years ago. I wrote a little head-canon to go with it:

For years the Pirates and Blue Coats fought over the treasures of the Caribbean. Old maps and whispered rumors pointed to a vast trove hidden by old Spanish conquistadors. When the Blue Coats won control of Eldorado Fortress (Spanish for “The Golden Fortress”) they thought the name referenced the golden sunsets seen from its towers. Little did Governor Broadside know it referred to the treasure he had always sought, which was literally right under his nose.

The idea is the base can open up to reveal the hidden sea cave under the island.

So that's what's in the basement!

Which conquistador remains seated on the throne for all eternity?

Don Brickote and his loyal steed, Stud.
