Some progress on the tower and building on top of the fort

A little more progress on the top of the fort - first showing is two weekends away, so hoping to wrap up the bulk of it this coming weekend

The scale of these builds never fails to impress. I honestly never thought about using larger Duplo-sized bricks as supports, although given the size, it absolutely makes sense. Nicely done!

Yes, on purpose :) I think it needs a window below the flag though. Will have to add it!

Most impressive Hope the bluecoats can keep up with this  I don't know if this has been asked before, but do you guys plan to display ships in the collab layout as well?

Yes another builder is making a much smaller bluecoat fort 

There will be a smattering of ships in the harbor - maybe 4 or 5. I'm going to include one of my own so that I can have a ship in the water if I display it alone

That door technique is downright amazing, I need to get my hands on some masonry bricks in reddish brown.

The whole build is so impressive but my favorite scene is the pirate on that small peninsula, chased by redcoats. Hope his fellow pirate will arrive in time to save him!
