Jessica Posted July 9, 2008 Posted July 9, 2008 I'm not sure where to put this, so here it is..... I'd like to tell a tale of the unfortunate knight..... This is him at the last stand of his three man group.... Yep, he's a coward..... but man that's a lot of soldiers after him..... Oh and here he is again.... Wow, he's bad luck, isn't he? Here's the funny thing, he's name is Lucky John. Quote
Admiral Blockbeard Posted July 10, 2008 Posted July 10, 2008 If i were him i would run away from these weird coloured people, trolls and space age clones!!! not to mention a giant flying fish!! Great work and i like the irony of the name! Regards Cpt. PB Quote
Captain Green Hair Posted July 10, 2008 Posted July 10, 2008 That's funny, such a random group chasing that guy I love the shot with the palmtrees in the back, if you manage to use a little more light next time, you'd have the perfect shot! Quote
I Scream Clone Posted July 10, 2008 Posted July 10, 2008 Orcs, Stormtroopers, Nazi stormtroopers, and a giant sea serpent! Oh My! Dont just stand there RUN! Great short story you have created there Jessica, i really like the look of that Serpent too Quote
Tarfful Posted July 10, 2008 Posted July 10, 2008 (edited) Great job on your fun and wacky creation, Jessica! The seemingly randomness of the choice of figs really adds a kind of Time Cruisers feel to the creation. Witch is by no means a bad thing. The photography is wonderful in the way it captures the feel of the scene, the facial expression of the Unfortunate Knight is priceless. The only things that I think you could work on are: 1. Get some (LEGO) scenery into the MOC, some sand dunes and a beach with some tropical foliage would match the palm trees in the background perfectly. 2. Although not that big of a deal, I think that if you introduced the Unfortunate Knight's real name at the beginning of the story it would have more of an impact on the feel of the MOC and add a greater sense of irony to the story. Oh, and one more thing, make an avatar! (No member is complete without one.) -Tarfful EDIT: I rephrased some of my sentences, and took the off-topic comment out. Edited July 11, 2008 by Tarfful Quote
BlueBard Posted July 10, 2008 Posted July 10, 2008 "...he was not afraid at all to be killed in nasty ways" Nice and funny job! I really like the second shot Quote
Lt. Col. Thok Posted July 11, 2008 Posted July 11, 2008 It is very unfortunate for that knight to have died. Oh, well. Nice scene. Quote
jifel Posted July 11, 2008 Posted July 11, 2008 "...he was not afraid at all to be killed in nasty ways" Nice and funny job! Sir Dillon Posted July 11, 2008 Posted July 11, 2008 This is a funny idea Jessica, and I think it could be pretty cool if you put some work into it. Perhaps try building a couple vignettes depicting Lucky John's unfortunate events? Quote
Jessica Posted July 12, 2008 Author Posted July 12, 2008 Here's another try at the unfortunate knight....... What did ya think? Quote
badbrick Posted July 12, 2008 Posted July 12, 2008 The German soliders and Stormtroopers pair up nicely. Who is that ontop next to the tower? It looks like an action figure. Quote
