I apologize if this breaks protocols for the site, if it does, I would ask the mods to keep it here until I've had a chance to view the answer before deleting it.

I've seen quite a few people over the years posting minifigs with bayonets on their muskets.  I'd always thought one could order just the bayonet, but as I'm looking for them, I'm only seeing them available in one place (the Plastic Brick), and it's with a whole rifle.

Does anybody know of another place which carries these?

There are two main types of 3rd party bayonets available: BrickForge and BrickArms.

1. The BrickForge ones are a single piece that includes the blade and clip:

You can buy one-offs there for sure.

2. The BrickArms ones are two pieces: A double clip and the blade.

You can't buy them directly from BrickArms, but you should be able to on reseller sites (Check out BrickMania)

I much prefer the BrickForge single-piece ones.

Nope, this is fine.

As The LEGO Group has failed miserably with innovating accessories for historic themes in recent times, it's understand why builders would wish to seek third-party options.

Oh come on Mister Phes, be reasonable! They released Pirates and Treasure VIP Add On Pack 40515 with a golden cock - what more could people possibly want in terms of accessories?

Thanks for the info.  It doesn't look like they fit with existing muskets :-(

Why, thank you, kind sir!  I hope things are well with you, I've been too busy to watch the forums lately.

They fit just fine on normal TLG muskets :bonaparte: (i.e., they have a 3mm connection point clip)
