thebricky Posted February 24, 2023 Posted February 24, 2023 Hello Friends, I have made a Self-Balancing System and a gyroscope, then I just mounted them on the Zetros. It was nice to test that the gyroscope was always parallel to the ground while the zetros was going uphill. Then I thought of making a mechanism that could balance it when I put an object on it. Self-Balancing System i made, is able to balance in two axis. It keeps the platform parallel to the ground in all situations by means of the LEGO Robot Inventor angular sensors coded with python. Thanks. Quote
2GodBDGlory Posted February 24, 2023 Posted February 24, 2023 Nice! Those are both pretty interesting ideas to see! Quote
Toastie Posted February 24, 2023 Posted February 24, 2023 I love the law of conservation of angular momentum - along with all Newton's laws of motion ... Very nice video and demonstration! Regards, Thorsten Quote
aeh5040 Posted February 24, 2023 Posted February 24, 2023 Very interesting! I'm amazed the the gyro holds its orientation for so long. Quote
Toastie Posted February 24, 2023 Posted February 24, 2023 Well, it is very nicely propelled - not much friction and thus momentum there - it is a really nice demonstration! Best, Thorsten Quote
