Relays and Powerd up using Spike or any hub

I have been scouring the interwebs to see if any one had hacked a wire to switch a relay on and off, to switch external periferals, 

 

Has any one done this?

Just use a Powered-up cable on pins 1+2 ("motor") for the relais and connect the cables 4 with 5 and 3 with 6 , that simulates a train-motor to the hub.
