Numbuh23 Posted July 8, 2008 Posted July 8, 2008 (edited) Since I'm Getting A Two-Face Minifig From A Trade Soon, I Decided To Make Him A Van. I Didn't Have The Set So I Used Instructions From Lego.com Then When I Wanted To Take Something Out, Like The Side Blasters, I Just Filled In The Rest. The Only Problem I Had With This Was Whiting Out The Dark Bley Hood Piece. I Had Three Of Them, So It Was Worth It. Besides The Car Light Pieces, Only 4 Solid Colors Were Used To Build This...And Most Inspiration This Came From Was...Batbrick! -Dark Bluish Gray -White -Light Bluish Gray -Black The Front Of The Van The Back Of It, And I Was Able To Add Doors, And A Removeable Top The Doors Opened And The Two Tops Removed An Aerial Type View, You Can See The Modded Hood Quite Well From Above Under The Van, Has An Alright Support, Just As Long You Don't Push It Down Too Hard A Final Look At Both Sides My Flickr Photostream For Some Extras In My Upcomign Batman Brickfilm... The Penguin Posted July 8, 2008 Posted July 8, 2008 Nicely done, Numbuh23! (Your nickname is inspired by KND, right?) I like the way you did it. ) And the doors at the back are quite useful. I guess your van is shorter than the original one, am I right? ) Good day, gentlemen. ) Quote
Numbuh23 Posted July 8, 2008 Author Posted July 8, 2008 (edited) Nicely done, Numbuh23! (Your nickname is inspired by KND, right?) Yes It Was! When I Was 10-11, I Suck With That Name Since. KND Was My Favorite Show When I Was Younger I guess your van is shorter than the original one, am I right? The Length Of The Van Is Exactly The Same As The Original. I Noticed That I Could Fit In The Doors, So I Decided To Do Just That. I'm Glad You Like It The Penguin. Edited July 8, 2008 by Numbuh23 Quote
JimBee Posted July 9, 2008 Posted July 9, 2008 Cool, I like the paint job. it seems very well put together, and both sides are symmetrical to each other. One thing, please do not capitalize every word. Quote
Batbrick Posted July 9, 2008 Posted July 9, 2008 Thanks for mentioning me as the inspiration Numbuh23, it looks very good. I'm not too sure on the paint job, but the rest looks very good and symmetrical, thanks for sharing. Batbrick Away! Quote
Brainbox Posted July 10, 2008 Posted July 10, 2008 Not so up on the paint, but apart from that it's very nice. I like the doors at the back... more than what I've got on mine in fact. Hmm, perhaps I need to look at mine again. Quote
