Looks good and is a great idea, I would however suggest downsizing it some as it seems unnecessarily large. A couple of other things too, it looks like a rather boring and very repetitive build. I would recommend trying to make the build more interesting, add some more complex building techniques and a little more variety to the overall look, maybe focus a little more on the day to day operations and less on the military aspect as we all know how TLG feels about such things. Anyway best of luck with your project and don't be discouraged, it is a decent start.

Actually I find day to day operations very boring, I find the military part more interesting ;-) 
...(the Roman castrum was repetitive...).
Not necessarily more complex means more beautiful, unfortunately I think the race to build in a strange way has gotten out of hand on Lego Ideas...
For me the shape and size are perfect, unfortunately I will have to adapt to the standard of... Lego Ideas, or maybe I never will  :-D
