Note to all contestants: You may create threads for your MOCs now :classic: )

And the entries... (please look at all before voting  )

SirNadroj: Bar of the Future

It's even scummier than Mos Eisely. And in honour to our great host, there is even a "SlyOwl" technique hidden in there. See the puke?

~VBBN~: Car Gas Production Plant

Oh dear, this isn't what I hoped, but I kinda have to go on vacation, so let's proceed with the MOC...

(Sorry forgot to resize..)

So anyway, this is the new way to make gas for cars. First, old metals and rubbers are sorted at the factory. Main:

dscn0324.jpg

The rubbers are put through a high degree furnace, and it filters the rubber gas(air) into pressurised tanks. A vapor turns it into a liquid. This is then placed at pumps around the world, brought by the tankers, which get the gas from the back of the station. Rubber tire view:

(Sorry about the PS2 games. I have to sell them on Ebay...)

The metals are melted, remolded, and lifted by a crane. They then go down a ramp on the back for trucks.

Sorry about the MOC not being too good. Next time I am shooting for something....SNOT!

ricecracker: Robot Dancing Club Busted

The well known club, The Golden Robot, was raided by space police forces tonight. apparently the the small cage in the back was used for storing humans, who then had their human horns cut off and sold (futarama anyone? ). Ironically, as the police were entering, there was a sale of a fresh one going on right then. 6 aliens/robots were arrested. five were employees, while one was the customer. charges range from attempted murder to buying and selling exotic animal parts.

Wilhelm Screamer: 50's Robot of Doom

It rampages through the citys and levels your homes! Guard your children! For the "50's robot of DOOM!" is coming to kill you! *oh2*

i_will_kill_you.jpg

The monstrosity flies with a jet pack and burns down fields with it's massive flamethrower! :sing:

"DIE puny human!"

(creator's note: I choose to leave the flash on because I thought it makes the whole thing look significantly more EVIL.)

Exobuilder: Failed to meet deadline

And I have sent all the contestants the following PM:

Your third assignment will be to build in the Sissy Themes (or themes no-one likes  ) category:

This covers anything that wasn't included in the first two categories (like I said, you'll be able to build anything at some stage in the contest)

A list of actual Lego themes allowed:

-Town, Fabuland, Scala, Belville, Clikits, Aqua Raiders, Miniland, Trains, Paridisia, Creator, Sculpture, Agents and all related themes and sub-themes

-Although Agents should have been in the Second Category, it wasn't widely released then

-Sculpture that imitates a style is allowed, but not replicas

-MOCs based on any form of media are not allowed, as the original concept is not your own.

Remember, it must fit onto an area of 1500 square studs, and 3 photos 800x600.

You have until 7th August to enter, or you will be disqualified.

Do not create a thread for your MOC until after voting has finished.

PM me your entry, with deeplinks/links to your photos and a description, and I will release them once voting starts (just to avoid confusion in this thread).

Wow, I never saw these before, they're good! Has there been any individual topics of them?

I voted for SirNadroj anyway, I love the bar!:grin:

I saw it, but thought it was just a hat, then realised what I was meant to be. Haha.:sick:

i voted bar of the future, i ignored as much as possible who made what, so i simply voted on what i saw, i loved the humour shown in this MOC and the photo's enhance this to a greater level. Hard work has obviously gone into these so congrats to those who have made the dead line you all deserve my vote!

I'm boycotting this competition because of this BS:

That's a pretty broad definition of "sissy." You really struck a nerve here... :hmpf_bad:

I have to agree with you here, Hinckley. I thought: "C'mon, some of these are popular..." when i read that...

Anyways, as much as i hated to, ( ) i had to vote for SirNadroj. I tried to vote for someone else, but his skills in MOCing totally blew away all the competition. The dance club by ricecracker was pretty good too, but the bar was just too good. And, it reminded me of the movie "Total Recall".

I wish SirNadroj would make something crappy for a change so I would be able to vote for some other great entries.

But alas, he never does, so my vote as usual goes to him. I really like the walls of the bar with those cones. They look very futureistic.

All of the entries are great!

After looking through the entries again and again, I have to vote for "Bar of the Future". It simply caught my attention and blow me away. Another close entry, was the "Robot Dancing Club Busted". I like how ricecracker create these robots, and its disco layout. Tough 2nd round.

Slyowl, your defintion of "sissy" is certainly broad. :look:

These are great themes, please change it to something else. "Sissy" sounded so

~VBBN~ and ricecracker: Will you please resize your images to approximately 800x600 for the next category. I've resized them for you this time, but I may start docking votes.

Well, Town/City, Agents (shouldn't really be in there) and Fabuland are the only themes on EB which generally get MOCed in; if someone wants to start a Clikits Revolution, then so be it, but until then, it's a Sissy theme (to me)...The "popular" themes just get thrown in with the rest.

Why is Failed to meet "deadline" even an option?

Somehow, two people voted for this. :look::wacko:

What do you expect from EB? :sceptic: I've deleted it now - I didn't really expect anyone to vote for him, except out of sympathy... Those 2 people who did vote for him - well...did they really deserve their vote?
