This is my entrie to « Life in Cedrica » contest.

It's daybreak in Cedrica, the fishermen bring back their booty from the night to the smokehouse... the fish will be sold in a few hours on Cedrica’s market. At the top of the astral tower, it's time to put away the telescope... on the floor below, magicians and sorcerers take advantage of an unobstructed view to admire the first lights of the sun. Others like Dohvakiin continue their nocturnal readings. Walt was refused access to the upper floors and preferred to wait quietly in the tavern on the ground floor. A howl resounded! Listening only to his courage. Walt climbs the stairs four by four to help a woman in distress.

And there’s a bonus!

My entrie for the « Where’s Waldo » contest in Brickscalibur  (Not for this challenge: but I want to avoid multiple posts) I added a market in another baseplate !

Walt Herboï is on a mission to Cedrica to accompany the sorcerer of the clan of dragons to Cedrica, the capital... The sorcerer has made some purchases in the "astral tower", a high place for sorcerers from all walks of life and has bought there four frogs with the amazing ability to change color in order to escape their predators. While joining the one he likes to nickname "Waldo" on the market place, he accidentally let the four batrachians escape. Help Waldo find the 4 frogs... but… Where is Waldo?

You can also find a dog, a cat, a rat, the character represented by the painter and a coin of 5 to reward you!

Great build! I enjoyed looking at all the details in the busy market and at all the interiors! I also like the including of the flags from all 4 guilds! Other details I thought were cool were the use of the large door piece for the tower roof and the sea serpent/ dragon decorations on the roof. One critique I have is I feel like some of the larger walls like the tan and light grey one would benefit from more texturing, rather than only using masonry bricks.

Nice build!  This has a very Ninjago City vibe to me.  I love the height on the build, and your rooftops, particularly with the use of the gold accents, is great. I like how you used the ornate gold fencing on different levels to tie the structure together.  The interiors are great, with very nice floor tiling and small furniture.  That's a tricky thing to make look good on the building scale, and you make it look easy.  I love the minis, and the Captain Hook lady is amazing!  She looks like she came as a CMF.  You have some nice detailing on the water with the lily pads and it's evident you spent some time here to make it look good. It's subtle, but helps I think.  For suggestions, I have a couple.  Most importantly, I would change to a white background, or at least a solid one.  Before I got a light box, I used to use the back of those huge poster calendars you can get at banks and such. It really helps.  @LordDan mentioned breaking up the tan a bit.  You have a few SNOT bricks there, but you could also add a few spots of white plate, or dark tan to add a bit as well.  I would also suggest a slight recess on the white walls in the Tudor styling on the third level to add a bit of texture.  Overall, it's a really nice build and a great addition to Cedrica! Keep up the good work!

yes nice build! I especially like the market area (so colourful!) and the interiors. some nice details there. the minifigs look also cool. as already mentioned, I think the pictures would be so much better when you took them on a white background. the colours on the tower would look a lot better.

p.s. using that mushroom + harry potter stick for the top of the round building is very creative. nice!

Neat build!  The interior portions are my favorite parts.  The scroll on the top segment is spectacular.  All the furniture is nice.  Outdoors, I like the roofs and little fishing boat.
